CET Raises $155,000 at Live on CET!

CINCINNATI – CET is proud to announce it raised $155,560 during its “Live on CET!” auction and gala event held at the Music Hall Ballroom on May 7.

 

The fifth-annual event, presented by Western & Southern Financial Group, brought in 300 guests who bid on items ranging from vacations, jewelry, sports memorabilia, a professionally-crafted child’s playhouse and a Clifford the Big Red Dog themed doghouse.

 

“Live on CET! is always such a fun event,” said Sylvia Richard, CET’s Director of Membership and Events. “Our guests enjoyed the Clifford the Big Red Dog theme and were happy to see Clifford himself at the event. We are truly thankful for all of the sponsors, donors, bidders and volunteers who helped make this year’s gala a success.”

Event Co-Chairs Miriam West and Maria Cholak lead the committee consisting of: Dawn Bertsche, Suzanne Costandi, Margaret A. Horton, Barbara Kellar, Larry Kellar, Miriam Kinard, Meghan Martin-Walker, Winona A. McNeil, Maria Molina, Deborah R. Spradley and Gwen Wilder.

 

Money raised during the event will support programming and general operations of the organization. CET is not only Cincinnati’s PBS affiliate, it also maintains a ground-breaking video-on-demand website, CETconnect.org, and offers educational opportunities for teachers, students and parents in the Greater Cincinnati Region.
