BRIDGES for a Just Community 2010 Honoree Michael Hawkins

Michael W. Hawkins has been a labor and employment attorney for nearly 40 years, yet during that time he has made time to mentor others and work to improve the lives of people of all races and economic strata. Mr. Hawkins has served on the board of BRIDGES for a Just Community, Cincinnati Human Relations Commission, and other civic organizations. He's been a leading member of the International Services Committee for the National Red Cross and, in that capacity, traveled on international mission trips. He served in the same capacity for Refugees International. He is also chair emeritus of ALFA International, a global network of independent law firms whose member firms endeavor to provide their clients with superior legal services at reasonable costs by supplementing their own expertise and resources with those of other members.
