Dysart Woods State Park

Jeff Cage walks through Dysart Woods and shows what it's like being in a very rare environment: 50-acres of virgin forest. The designation ''virgin forest'' means it is totally undisturbed by humans. It is the largest remaining tract of old growth forest in southeastern Ohio. It is located in the unglaciated Allegheny Plateau in Belmont County almost five miles from the village of Belmont on Ohio State Route 147.
