FOCUS - American Red Cross of Greater Cincinnati & Dayton Region
In 1905, local community leaders were urged by William Howard Taft (then Secretary of War under President Theodore Roosevelt) to organize an American Red Cross Chapter here in Cincinnati. Over one hundred years later, the chapter continues to thrive even in difficult socio-economic times such as these.
On this episode of Focus, Kathy Lehr talks with Susan Redman-Rengstorff and Chuck Gibson about how the volunteer-led American Red Cross of Greater Cincinnati & Dayton Region provides relief to victims of disasters, as well as, helps people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.
