The Reds Community Fund blends together the team's long history of community involvement with a present-day commitment to at-risk kids throughout Greater Cincinnati. As the nonprofit arm of baseball's first professional team, the Community Fund strives to create programming that connects underserved children with baseball, while creating fundraising programs that connect baseball with the community.
On this episode of FOCUS, Kathy Lehr talks with Charley Frank, Executive Director Cincinnati Reds Community Fund, and Cameron Satterwhite, Assistant Director Urban Youth Academy, about this local nonprofit and the work it is doing in the community.
