FOCUS - How the Affordable Care Act Affects You
On this episode of Focus, representatives from The Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati discuss The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and how these changes could affect you and your family’s medical coverage.
During the discussion, we will learn more about: the Medicaid expansion, insurance exchanges, the changes to Medicare (specifically, benefits that are protected or enhanced, closing the gap in coverage), key changes to private insurance (review what has happened and what will come into effect through 2014) and what the individual mandate is and the government’s rationale for requiring it.
