Voices of Giving: Dianne Bohmer McGoron

Nominated by: Cancer Support Community of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky

Dianne has been an active member of Cancer Support Community (formerly The Wellness Community) for nearly 15 years. She has served as a Board Trustee since 1998, chaired the Marketing Committee, and volunteered in countless ways. Dianne is also a charter member of the Lynn Stern Planned Giving Society.

Dianne firmly believes in the mission and the vital programming Cancer Support Community provides. Dianne was among the first charter members of the CSC planned giving society. Her decision to make a planned gift was a natural extension of her belief in and commitment to CSC.

Cancer Support Community became part of a global cancer support network in 2011. This has enabled CSC to further strengthen its ability to serve all individuals impacted by cancer, and their loved ones, with vital programs and services at no cost.

Dianne Bohmer McGoron’s generous bequest has helped establish a fund to ensure that CSC’s valuable programming will be available far into the future.

As a key leader of the organization, Dianne is also setting an important and positive example for others to follow by ensuring the future of CSC through planned giving. It is with great gratitude that Cancer Support Community recognizes Dianne Bohmer McGoron for her outstanding commitment and dedication to its present and future.
