Voices of Giving: Patty Wagner and Nancy Wagner
Nominated by: CET
Sisters Patty Wagner and Nancy Wagner have served as volunteer leaders at CET and the CSO for decades. For just as long, they have also generously contributed to both organizations.
With CET, the sisters began their involvement over 20 years ago, volunteering at the Action Auction. This was a natural outgrowth of their love, as children, of watching programs like Masterpiece Theater. The Wagner sisters now have the important responsibility of scheduling the over 1,500 items for the Action Auction. They hold leadership roles for the CET Gala and are both recipients of the Barbara Kellar Volunteer of the Year Award.Nancy
As key volunteers, organizational leaders, and life-long donors, ensuring the future for CET was of critical importance to both Patty and Nancy. In fact, they both joined CET’s legacy society, CET Visionaries, when it was re-launched in 2007.
The generous bequests that both Patty Wagner and Nancy Wagner have put in place for CET will make a tremendous contribution to the cultural life that Cincinnati is known for. For CET, this means the continuing ability to bring the world stage to all of Cincinnati both on-air and on-line.
CET is forever indebted to Patty Wagner and Nancy Wagner for their boundless passion and enthusiasm – and for all the many ways they have devoted their time, talents and treasure to ensure a thriving cultural life for all of Cincinnati for generations to come.
