Author Orson Scott Card examines how we read, hear and enjoy (or not) Shakespeare's works. Taking the writer's perspective, Card walks the audience through language and meaning for Shakespeare and for a modern audience. Card is the author of such novels as Ender's Game, Ender's Shadow, Speaker for the Dead, The Tales of Alvin Maker and Magic Street. He spoke at the Mercantile Library.
