WW2 Richard DeWine
Dick DeWine, a veteran of World War 2, shares his experience as a replacement rifleman in Germany and Austria. Mr. DeWine served in Company K, the Most Decorated Company in the 409th Regiment of the 103rd Infantry Division, 6th Corps of the 7th Army. Mr. DeWine's company fought to cross the Seigfried Line and helped to liberate Dachau. Mr. DeWine stayed in Germany for the occupation and served as a guard in a prison camp for war criminals during the Nuremberg trials.
